Instructions
- Stir all ingredients except ketchup together.
- Bring to a boil and stir well.
- Remove from heat. Remove 1 cup to use as a marinade. Cover your meat and refrigerate several hours or overnight.
- Add ½ cup ketchup to remaining ½ cup of marinade. Stir well and baste with additional sauce or spoon over cooked meat (we used brisket).
