Could this be turned into a watermelon lemonade syrup? How much lemon juice do you think would need to be added?
Likely yes! Perhaps try a ½ cup lemon juice to the 4 cups watermelon, but you’ll likely have to adjust to your taste. Otherwise you could make the Watermelon Lemonade Jam recipe (https://www.watermelon.org/recipes/watermelon-lemonade-jam/) and then over low heat on a stove top add warm water by the tablespoon to get desired consistency. I know watermelon form ice crystals when frozen, but with the water reduction plus the sugar I was wondering maybe it’s possible?
